Jeff Lipman has been in the practice of law representing clients, who have been victims of personal injury and workers’ compensation since 1989. Jeff has litigated cases throughout Iowa in State and Federal trial courts. Jeff has appeared before the Iowa Supreme Court, Iowa Court of Appeals, and has extensive experience arguing cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Jeff has also handled federal and state court cases throughout numerous states.

Jeff handles class action cases on issues such as bed bugs, hospital price discrimination, Fair Credit Reporting Act violations, and warranty-related matters in both state and federal courts.

Jeff is a part owner of the Iowa Barnstormers and an active member of the University of Iowa Davenport Quarterback Club. He serves as President of the City of West Des Moines Sister Cities Commission and is the Treasurer of the Greater Des Moines Jewish Federation. Jeff’s leadership and commitment are evident across his diverse community and professional roles, reflecting his passion for sports, civic engagement, and cultural connection.

In the area of family law, Jeff has authored both the Polk County Bar Association’s Pro Se (Self-Represented) Family Law Manual and the Volunteer Lawyers’ Project Attorney Family Law Manual. Jeff has also been published several times in law reviews in the areas of Insurance Law, Employment Law, and Civil Rights Law.
