Represented tenants at Crosslines Retirement Center in Kansas City, Kansas on a federal court class action case involving bed bugs in the District of Kansas. The case involved two structures that were approximately 200 units that were comprehensively infested with bed bugs over multiple years. We received a class settlement of $4,600,000 with equitable relief that required the building to adopt aggressive bed bug protocols that will include nine dedicated technicians that will service the building with a reputable pest control company. A portion of the settlement funds will be dedicated to the new pest control efforts. The Plaintiffs were represented by Lipman Law Firm, Bell Law Office, Heartland for Jobs, and Freedom in Kansas City, Missouri.
